Cyborg Gaming Mice

Mad Catz has launched a new range of gaming mice this week and is talking up the adjustability to an individual gamer’s hand.

Four new mice have been announced including:
  • Cyborg R.A.T 9 Gaming Mouse – 5600dpi laser, programmable, weight system, rechargeable batteries, $129.99
  • Cyborg R.A.T 7 Gaming Mouse – 5600dpi laser, programmable, weight system, USB powered, $99.99
  • Cyborg R.A.T 5 Gaming Mouse – 4000dpi laser, programmable, weight system, USB powered, $69.99
  • Cyborg R.A.T 3 Gaming Mouse – 3200dpi laser, USB powered, $49.99

These new mice are not what you would call easy on the eye and look like something out of Terminator more than an actual device your hand is meant to sit on. But for the hardcore gamer the adjustability may allow for the perfect setup to be achieved.

Mad Catz CEO and president Darren Richardson said:

Cyborg is best known for ergonomic and fully adjustable flight sticks, gaming mice and keyboards. The new mouse range incorporates the same market leading design principles and applies them to gaming mice. For the first time ever on a mouse, the key points of contact between the gamer’s hand and the mouse are fully adjustable allowing it to be customized for any grip preference. The Cyborg mouse range was developed entirely in house and I believe they are the most comfortable gaming mice you’ll ever use. Besides they just look cool!
You’ll be able to buy them from Spring 2010. You can register at CyborgGaming.com to be told when they become available.
